In celebration of Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 10th, we’ve partnered with non-profit Single Moms Planet to deliver free ‘No-Contact Car Repair’ service to deserving mothers in the Los Angeles area.
“By partnering with Single Moms Planet, we are proud to help single mothers in our community by making sure they have safe and reliable transportation to take care of their families during this time,” said AutoNation Mobile Service CEO Joel Milne. “By providing free car repairs, we hope to help the moms in our community have one less financial burden to worry about.”
Single Moms Planet, is dedicated to uplifting under-resourced single mothers and their children. According to the U.S. Census, single mother families make up one of the largest disadvantaged groups in the U.S., with 30 percent living below the poverty line. Currently, more than 15 million children live with a single mother.
