RepairSmith is a Preferred AAS Repair Vendor. We diagnose your vehicle and complete any necessary repairs right in your driveway at no extra charge. If your repair is covered under warranty, we coordinate approval with American Auto Shield to get you back on the road as soon as possible.

Based on your policy, you may be responsible for a portion of the diagnosis, repairs, and deductible. Please refer to your policy for specific details. Your RepairSmith technician will also review this with you before starting any work.
How does RepairSmith work?

How do I submit an American Auto Shield claim?
After completing the diagnosis, our Technician will contact American Auto Shield to determine if the repair is covered under your service contract. We will then review the repair costs with you for your approval and get you back on the road as quickly as possible.
What does the American Auto Shield Warranty cover?

If your claim is not approved, you may be responsible for the RepairSmith diagnostic fee as provided by RepairSmith, plus tax where applicable. The cost of diagnosis may vary by region and will be displayed prior to confirmation of the appointment. If your claim is approved, you will only be responsible for your deductible and your portion of the diagnostic fee and repairs as applicable, and any other services you elect to have RepairSmith complete on your behalf that are not covered by the service contract.
