In March, RepairSmith recognized our communities needed help. With the COVID-19 pandemic underway, access to safe and reliable transportation became more important than ever before.
With the closure of businesses from gyms to restaurants and more, many people experienced loss of employment in a moment’s notice. In contrast, with increased demands on hospitals, grocery stores, and meal deliveries, the pressure to safely service communities skyrocketed.
RepairSmith launched a community program to donate $100,000 in free ‘No-Contact Car Repair’ across the state of California and city of Las Vegas. Midway into the program, RepairSmith extended the program by $10,000 the newly launched service market in Phoenix.
The program offered $500 in free repair to people severely impacted by COVID-19, either due to the loss of employment or those on the frontlines in the community – such as government workers, service workers, delivery drivers, healthcare professionals, employees of grocery stores and pharmacies, volunteers and anyone who required the use of a functioning car to help others.
